Des Moines University’s College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery is one of eight accredited podiatric medical schools in the nation and the first to be affiliated with an academic health science center. Students take the same courses as DMU’s osteopathic medicine students their first year and part of year two. Students benefit from a breadth of teaching methods and learning opportunities including online applications, computer animation, motion analysis and lifelike models in state-of-the-art facilities.

CPMS Annual Fund
The College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Annual Fund offers critical support for Des Moines University’s daily operations. It provides critically needed scholarships, brings distinguished experts to campus and supports provocative conferences and more per discretion of the dean.
Scholarships
Through the generosity of alumni and friends, the University has established a variety of funds to improve the education of our CPMS students. Scholarships enable deserving high-quality students to achieve their goals, reduce their debt and demonstrate the commitment of donors who believe in their potential. Every donation is crucial, regardless of its size, and goes directly towards helping our students. Donations are not diminished by administrative costs and are fully tax-deductible.
