Seeking Physician Assistants

Physical Therapist: responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing, and administering of physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following an injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of function while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.

Specialize in acute care, home care and in-patient care working within a Regional Health Care Center.

Requires a graduate degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy, a certification by the American Physical Therapy Board, and a current or eligible Iowa license.

Occupational Therapist: responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing, and administering of occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.
