Faculty and Staff

All faculty members keep an open door policy for student access. Although every student is assigned a faculty advisor to help with problems or questions, any faculty member is available for help with a course question. No specific office hours are kept as instructors are available throughout the school day. Many basic sciences faculty members have research laboratories.

Our mission: To educate diverse groups of highly competent and collaborative biomedical scientists prepared to address problems of human health through basic and clinical research.

Our vision: Be a cultivator of exceptional student researchers who discover and disseminate new knowledge that contributes to the advancement of the treatment, cure, and prevention of human disease.
