Kyle Moore, D.P.M.’13, FACFAS; Matthew Hentges, D.P.M.’11, FACFAS; Lanster Martin, D.P.M.’14; and Jordan Ernst, D.P.M.’15, M.S.A.’13, AACFAS, were among the authors of the case report, “Avascular necrosis of the first metatarsal: a case of second metatarsal bone transport with external fixation,” published in the May-June 2021 issue of the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Moore is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon at the Ankle and Foot Center of Tampa Bay, South Tampa, FL. Hentges is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon on the faculty of the foot and ankle surgery residency program at Allegheny Health Network, West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. Martin is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon with the Baylor Scott and White Health System, College Station, TX. Ernst is a deformity correction fellow at the Paley Institute at St. Mary’s Medical Center and Palm Beach Children’s Hospital, West Palm Beach, FL.
