DMU Research Symposium

The DMU Research Symposium is scheduled for December 6, 2012. The Symposium aims to recognize the research efforts of those in the surrounding community; to provide a forum for the collaboration of ideas and the production of new hypotheses; and to impress upon the students of DMU the critical role that research plays in the advancement of health care. Classes will be cancelled for that afternoon. It is highly encouraged for everyone to attend and support their fellow students and faculty members. Prizes will be awarded this year to the primary author (students and residents only) with the best quality oral presentation and poster abstract. Come out and cast your vote for your favorite student researcher’s presentation!

December 6 also marks the opening of the 2013 Mentored Student Research Program applications. Applications will be available on the DMU website in the Research section. While there, check out the 2013 faculty mentors and their current projects. Get your applications submitted by March 1, 2013 to be considered for this exciting opportunity!
