Target Audience

Physicians, non-physician providers, nurses, administrators, risk managers, patient safety officers, and other health care professional staff.

Description

This is the first in a series of special webinars aimed at health care professionals that explores how to improve health care workplace culture by increasing healthy behaviors and eliminating harmful behaviors. This webinar will focus on how academic training tolerates if not fosters abusive behaviors and will discuss how to address and counteract it.

Objectives

  • Recognize the preferred characteristics for individuals entering health professions.
  • State the methods of training future health professionals.
  • List the characteristics of a healthy medical work place.
