Provide current information regarding approaches to management of pediatric and pediatric cardiovascular problems with evidence based medicines.


Upon conclusion of this series, participants will be able to:

  • Appraise and discuss the diagnosis and treatment strategies utilized in pediatric area.
  • Incorporate current guidelines, clinical updates and research into clinical practice.
  • Apply principles of evidence-based medicine in the formulation of treatment of clinical scenarios.
  • Identify resources available in the literature to expand knowledge in the area under discussion.

Target audience

Cardiovascular pediatricians, pediatricians, anesthesiologist, radiologists, emergency medicine, primary care physicians, residents, medical students, nurses, ancillary staff and allied health professionals who are involved in the management of pediatric patients.
