Robert Smith M.D. DLFAPA is emeritus associate professor, Clinical Carver College of Medicine University of Iowa, past president of the Iowa Psychiatric Society and APA trained on CPT coding.
Alison Lynch, M.D. is an associate professor with a dual appointment in the departments of Family Medicine & Psychiatry at the University of Iowa. She is the program director of the UI Family Medicine & Psychiatry Combined Residency. She also runs the CoMeBeh Clinic, the primary care clinic within the University of Iowa Adult Psychiatry Clinic for people with serious and persistent mental illness.
Kelley Pennington Ph.D. has been with Magellan Behavioral Care of Iowa since 2010. She is a senior manager for the company currently serving as the integrated health home program director. Prior to her work at Magellan, Dr. Pennington served as bureau chief for Adult Services in the Mental Health and Disability Services Division at the Iowa Department of Human Services. Prior to that she held clinical and administrative positions in community mental health centers and served as director of the University of Illinois at Chicago Psychiatry Department.
JoEllen Whitney, J.D. is a senior shareholder of the Davis Brown Law Firm. She works extensively in the field of healthcare law, privacy and confidentiality issues for hospitals, clinics and small practices. Ms. Whitney works with clients on HIPAA, medical records privacy, security, record release and retention.
