During the 2012-2013 academic year, the Office of Student Life in collaboration with faculty and students initiated the Innovative Leadership Series to focus on leadership development in the health professions. This Series will bring renowned leaders to DMU from around the region and country to discuss the following medical topics: health care administration; public policy; business management in the health sector; working collaboratively with diverse groups of health care practitioners; patient advocacy; patient population shifts throughout the United States; and, innovative sectors within health care for the 21st century.
