The Des Moines Park and Recreation Department invites you to enjoy your Saturday morning by participating in a free weekly yoga session at Gray’s Lake this summer. Maximize your stress relief by practicing yoga next to the water’s edge at the southeast shore at Gray’s Lake.
The classes will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and will be held every Saturday beginning June 4 through September 24. Local volunteer teachers lead each class which means you’ll have a different yoga experience each week!
This is yoga by the people, for the people. You are encouraged to bring a mat or a towel as well as some water and clothes you can move in. No registration for the class is required – just show up Saturday morning at 9:00 ready to relax, release and enjoy the experience of Yoga on the shores of beautiful Gray’s Lake. Classes will not take place if it is raining.
