water

Directions:

Mix pumpkin puree with cake mix. Batter will be thick, add a little water if needed. Pour into greased 7×11-inch pan. Follow baking directions on box. Check it a little early.

That definitely looks like a simple recipe! And I bet it’s delicious, though I’d heard box cake mix has some bad stuff for you in it. Well, pumpkin is good!! ;)

If you get a chance, check out my blog which has some fun cake decorating techniques to try out. Keep up the baking :)

Oh, yes this was the cake recipe I mentioned in another blog DMU. I came across this one in a Weight Watchers forum.

I think the pumpkin cake is a great idea, but I think you’d be a lot better making your own cake than a packet mix, you alway use fruit sugar instead of white sugar, and look at some of the diabetic cake recipes, that way you can also do some good cake decorating on the cake to make it look pretty too, without adding too many calories! As always the cake isn’t the problem it’s everything in moderation!! lol .
