Support the White Coat Program

WhiteCoatHeaders_DO.1

Those who wear the white coat accept the responsibilities of their professions and confirm their commitment to practicing with integrity and wisdom.

At Des Moines University, the white coat has an additional meaning: community. In recent years, DMU alumni and friends have supported the University’s annual White Coat Program, during which students in the osteopathic medicine, podiatric medicine, physician assistant and physical therapy programs don their white coats. Students know this special even is made possible by generous donors.

Please celebrate your connection to DMU and these future fellow health care professionals by becoming a 2015 White Coat Program supporter. You will be a hero to DMU students and underscore the professional responsibility and dedication to the white coat symbolizes. You also will inspire students to one day become heroes, too, with their own support of this wonderful tradition.

The University has already awarded white coats to the 2014 first year students. DMU is now accepting contributions to support the 2015 incoming class. Please make your gift before August 7, 2015 to support the 2015 first year white coat recipients.
