Dr. Katy Laurin is a licensed clinical psychologist in the DMU Clinic – Behavioral Health. She has a wealth of experience in the mental health field, previously working in private practice and at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines. She also has served as a faculty member for Broadlawns’ psychiatry and family medicine residency programs. Dr. Laurin earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in geropsychology, a medical specialty that helps older persons maintain well-being and overcome problems.
