Munroe Floor Plans

Munroe was designed to allow for innovative technology-enhanced instruction in a flexible, transformative teaching environment. Faculty using the space are encouraged to arrange the furniture for their unique pedagogical purposes. Please return the furniture to the default setup at the end of your teaching session so the room is ready for the next instructor.

Note: Instructors are responsible for moving their own furniture.

Group size: 16 groups of 6 people (48 tables, 96 seats)

Suggested Usage: Group activities with facilitator interaction
Notes: Individual table monitor viewing and access may be limited and some groups may not have access to a power tower.

Group size: 32 tables with 42 seats and/or 16 tables with 20 seats
Room can be combined or divided
Suggested Usage: Seminars, discussions
Notes: May need to use furniture from the other room. Individual table monitor viewing and access may be limited and some people may not have access to a power tower

Boardroom discussion

Group size: 8 tables with 12 seats and/or 40 tables with 56 seats
Room can be combined or divided
Suggested Usage: Single or multiple large group discussions with practical application in empty portion of room
Notes: May need to use furniture from the other room. Tables can be flipped up and nested in the corner of the room. Individual table monitor viewing and access may be limited and some people may not have access to a power tower.

Large ring

Group size: 48 tables, 50 seats
Room is combined
Suggested Usage: Observe activity occurring in the center
Notes: Individual table monitor viewing and access may be limited and some people may not have access to a power tower.

Rows

Rows
Group size: 4 or 5 rows per room
Room can be combined or divided
Suggested Usage: Lecture, Partner activities across table, meal events
Notes: May need to use furniture from the other room. Individual table monitor viewing and access may be limited and some people may not have access to a power tower. Notice the varied ways to use tables to form rows.
