DMU will work in close collaboration with Iowa Department of Public Health to implement mitigation measures on campus.

If you are vaccinated, wear a mask in public for 14 days following your exposure. Get a COVID-19 test 3-5 days after initial contact.

If you are unvaccinated, stay home for 14 days after your last contact with someone who has A confirmed case of COVID-19. Monitor yourself for signs and symptoms, and if possible, stay away from people you live with, especially those who are pregnant, older adults, or have underlying medical conditions.

Everyone is required to follow DMU’s guidelines while on campus. In particular, everyone should continue to practice the principles of frequent hand washing and general good hygiene. Mask wearing and social distancing on campus are no longer required practices, however, if one wants to wear a face-covering we encourage the use of one.
