Des Moines University has more than 60 student clubs, many of which are engaged in ongoing volunteer relationships and outreach events. Employees receive 16 hours of community service leave with approved community partner organizations such as the American Red Cross, Easter Seals and Meals from the Heartland.

Reserve DMU Facilities

DMU’s facilities are maintained to fulfill our academic and health care mission primarily funded by students’ tuition and fees.  When space is available, we are pleased to offer it to groups to conduct meetings, events or educational sessions that support our mission of education, health care, research and community service. Mobile Health Clinic

The Mobile Health Clinic is a Winnebago motor coach equipped with two private, handicapped accessible exam rooms and a patient reception area and restroom. This resource allows DMU and community partner organizations to deliver health services and provide outreach off-campus. Learn more.
