Daniel Christian, Ph.D., assistant professor of physiology and pharmacology at Des Moines University, is investigating brain mechanisms during alcohol withdrawal with a two-year $152,000 grant from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism of the National Institutes of Health.
