Grand rounds is an important teaching tool of medical education as well as patient care.  It is essential that students and current physicians are up to date on all of the new research, techniques, and treatments in the genetics field.  The goal of grand rounds is to allow easy access for healthcare professionals to become current in their medical genetics knowledge.

Grand rounds at DMU will consist of presenting the medical issues and particular treatment of a real patient seen in the hospital or clinic to an audience consisting of doctors, residents and medical students.

Participating hospitals

  • Mercy
  • Methodist
  • Broadlawns
