Completely
online with no campus visit required.
Either
online or on campus. I would want a choice.

would want to visit campus for select courses or events
(i.e., orientation, graduate
presentations, leadership skill building seminars, etc.).

on campus. I would only want to use online technologies to support on
my on campus experiences. |

Synchronous
technologies. Assignments requiring real-time
(logged into a website at a
particular date and time) interaction
with the instructor and fellow students in an on-line environment
(i.e. chat rooms, virtual
classrooms, etc.).
Asynchronous
technologies. Assignments are required to be completed by a day/time
but otherwise don’t require you to access the course at any specific
day/time. No real-time interaction with the instructor or other
students is provided
(i.e. discussion boards, quizzes/tests, emails, etc.).

DMU has a student laptop computer program,
which provides participating students a new laptop computer loaded with
all the required software and access to the HELP desk, for a discounted
fee. |
