The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program welcomes visitors to our campus. We have two options for guests who would like to visit campus and meet with our admissions staff.

1) Discover DMU - Three times each year we hold organized on-campus events at Des Moines University for prospective students to tour campus and learn more about our graduate programs. These events are scheduled from 3:00-6:00. During the Discover DMU Day, prospective students will have an opportunity to hear about program highlights from the Deans, talk with the admission staff, learn more about our individual graduate programs, and tour many of our labs. Tours and demonstrations include numerous areas of interest such as: Anatomy Lab, Surgery Lab, Suturing, Cardiac Simulator, Human Performance Lab, Standardized Patient Assessment Lab, Human Simulation Lab, and Osteopathic Manual Manipulation Lab. 2) Individual Campus Visit - Prospective students interested in our Physical Therapy Program may also choose to visit campus for an individual meeting with one of our admission coordinators.  This will give you a one-on-one opportunity to discuss the DPT program, ask questions about the admission process, and review your academic plan.  These meetings usually last about 30-40 minutes, followed by a campus tour.
