Welcome to the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Des Moines University.

In addition to being the program's director and a faculty member, I am also a graduate of Des Moines University. I fully understand the quality education that this institution offers its students and the respect it enjoys on both a local and national level.

The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Des Moines University offers a 34-month accredited curriculum that emphasizes the development of physical therapists well prepared to provide health care to a diverse client population. The Program's mission and philosophy is reflective of the University's osteopathic tradition and places an emphasis on providing its students with solid manual therapy skills.

Des Moines University is dedicated to the education of health care providers. Its College of Osteopathic Medicine, College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and programs in Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant studies, Health Care Administration and Public Health, provide opportunities for integrative learning experiences. The approach facilitates the development of multi-disciplinary respect among all student groups.
