The seven full-time faculty members and the five part-time faculty members that comprise the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery have over 112 years experience as clinicians and educators between them. Several well-known lecturers and physicians in the local community also contribute as adjunct faculty, creating an excellent knowledge base for our students.
In addition to their work as educators, the faculty also serve as clinicians at the Des Moines University Foot and Ankle Institute. The faculty use the Institute as a way to give our students hands-on experience with patients, and bring learning outside the classroom.
The College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery faculty is very committed to the educational experience of our students. Each student is assigned a faculty advisor to serve as a resource and guide, and to answer any questions the student may have. The faculty do not keep office hours, in order to be more available to our students as questions arise. Contact numbers for our faculty are listed below.
