Reimbursements

Student interest in global health opportunities at DMU has rapidly increased in a few short years. Because of this growth, DMU’s global health faculty committee has made changes to the student international rotation policy. The global health student travel document explains the application process.

Financial assistant application, January 2011

One major change is the process for financial assistance when traveling on an international rotation. For rotations beginning July 1, 2011, you will be required to apply through the global health department and be selected to receive reimbursement (up to $1,200).

For D.O. and D.P.M. programs, the deadline for completing the application process is January 1, 2011. For CHS students, the application deadline will vary. Students wanting to apply for financial assistance or having specific questions regarding the process should contact the following faculty or staff:

Students are encouraged to participate in global health rotations. Setting up an international rotation is a smooth process and we strongly suggest that you take advantage of this opportunity.
