Faculty Development is a process by which DMU faculty and physicians work systematically to improve their educational, administrative, research, communication and professional academic skills. In that regard, some examples include developing a curriculum, effectively teaching and evaluating trainees and programs, teaching one-on-one, presenting in large and small groups, facilitating case discussion, conducting research, managing programs, and leading staff.

This Faculty Development web site has been designed with your professional needs in mind. Feel free to browse the various sub-sections of this site and make use of the educational slide shows, documents, videos, sound files and other links available. Requests or recommendations for other items that you feel would be useful to your or your colleagues' professional development can be directed to the Faculty Development office.
