Clinical Teaching without the One-Minute PreceptorClinical Teaching without the One-Minute Preceptor

Watch this clinical teaching scenario and then try and apply the One-Minute Preceptor technique (knowing that the learner has discounted the diagnosis of cardiac chest pain and is settled on anxiety as the cause of the pain). Be very specific in what you would say for each of the five steps of the OMP. After you have done this, watch the companion tape of what the scenario could have looked like had the OMP been used.
