AAMC Report on Millennium Conferences I & II This is a summary report of two successive conferences (2001 & 2002) conducted by the AAMC. Themes resulting from the conferences were centered around three major foci in medical education; those being: 1. What to teach, 2. How to teach, and 3.Who teaches. Themes discussed included: competency based curricula, performance assessment, integration of orphan topics, curricular oversight, design of clinical experiences, importance of resident teaching, and rewarding of teaching.
