IOMA names DMU’s Dr. Woolley doc of year

(Des Moines, IA) – Des Moines University’s Adrian Woolley, D.O., was honored with the “Physician of the Year” award from the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association (IOMA).

Dr. Woolley is an associate professor of family medicine and osteopathic manual medicine and practices in the Des Moines University Clinic. She is a 1995 graduate of Des Moines University (DMU) and did her internship and residency at the former Des Moines General Hospital. She has been an IOMA board member since 2003 and was recently elected vice president. A past president, she also serves in the IOMA House of Delegates and as an alternate delegate to the American Osteopathic Association’s House of Delegates.

The award is given annually to an osteopathic physician who exhibits a notable commitment to his or her profession, patients and colleagues.
