Now you don’t have to own a bike to enjoy the trails throughout the city. This summer for the first time, Des Moines Parks and Recreation teamed up with Bike World to offer bike rentals at the concession stand at Gray’s Lake Park. You can choose from hybrid, mountain or road bikes in adult and children’s sizes. Rent for a few hours or an entire week.
Get more information on the Gray’s Lake Park Facebook page.

Andrea Cooley gets paid to post on Facebook and Twitter (among other things) to promote Des Moines University to prospective students. She is a Midwest girl at heart, but loves to travel around the country visiting friends and family. If Des Moines had mountains or an ocean she’d never leave.
Before joining the DMU marketing team, she was an editor for Country Home magazine. She’s still a little obsessed with magazines, so if you want to talk about decorating, remodeling or gardening projects she’s your go-to girl.

Hey that’s great initiative taken by Bile World. It would be a superb experience for all to enjoy the ride around Des Moines as the bikes are available in different sizes. My best wishes are with them. Good Luck.

Bike World came up with a range of bikes for recreational tours. Since the bikes will be used in this summer so it would be a good idea to provide a top cover for the bikes. Best of luck to the organizer and hope they will think on my idea. Bye.
