A doggone good time

by

This weekend you can attend the annual Des Moines Dog Shows, Obedience Trials & Rally for free at the Varied Industries Building on the state fairgrounds. The event runs today through Sunday and includes approx. 2000 dogs from 45 states+other countries!  It’s a really fun thing to watch if you’re a fan of man’s best friend! I love to go see so many breeds in one spot! And who knows, you could be lucky and preview some of the Westminster competitors! It’s amazing to me how well trained these dogs are, especially for obstacle or rally events. Try it out for a fun, free experience this weekend. (The building has a/c, restrooms and food vendors.)

By bringing famous faces and Hollywood dollars together, the tv component of this effort aims to shine a spotlight on cancer research.
