Melissa J. Lawler, M.P.H.’10

Lawler and Scott Lawler were married on June 17, 2006. They welcomed a son, Braeden Michael, to their family on July 23, 2008, and a second son, Colin Benjamin, on August 31, 2011. Melissa is currently working on her nursing degree. The family resides in Rochester, MN.

Craig M. Drayden, M.H.A., M.P.H.’11

Drayden earned his registered health information technician credential from the American Health Information Management Association and recently accepted a position as a health information management supervisor in Dallas, TX. He will begin doctoral studies for a Ph.D. in information science with a concentration in health informatics this month.

Kristina K. Hagen, M.P.H.’10

Hagen and Tyler Russell have announced their engagement and plans to marry on May 5, 2012, in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. Both are certified personal trainers for Aspen Athletic Clubs and reside in Des Moines.

Jill Whitson, M.P.H.’07

Whitson and her husband, Stephen, welcomed their second child, Stella Raye, on December 20, 2011. She joins sister Eden at the family’s home. Jill works in public health for the Central Iowa Area Health Education Center in Des Moines.

Warren S. Silberman, D.O., M.P.H.’74

Silberman retired from the Federal Aviation Administration as the manager of the Aerospace Medical Certification Division. He formed an LLC, Aviation Certification Services, and plans on doing consulting. He is also the medical director of Harvey Watt and Company in Atlanta, GA, which provides disability insurance for pilots who have lost their medical certification certificate. He […]

Erica C. Field, M.P.H.’07

Field works for the American College of Radiology (ACR) in Philadelphia as a regulatory associate in the protocol development and regulatory compliance department for the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG). RTOG is one of four groups within ACR that develop or work with clinical trials.

Roberta A. Wattleworth, D.O.’81, M.H.A.’99, M.P.H.’04

Wattleworth completed six years as vice coordinator then coordinator of Level III of COMLEX for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners.
