Perkunas was married on March 10, 2012, and has a private practice, Yoga Therapy for You, in Tucson, AZ, incorporating physical therapy and yoga. She teaches yoga and other classes in California, Mexico and Arizona.

Alm completed a post-graduate sports physical therapy residency program in October 2012 through ProRehab, PC, and the University of Evansville in Evansville, IN.
