James S. Foreman, M.H.A.’93

Foreman accepted the position of chief financial officer with On With Life, a nonprofit organization and a Midwest leader in brain injury rehabilitation. Foreman plans to start the position on March 31, 2014.

Mark A. Barinque, D.P.M.’93

Barinque and his wife, Romola, welcomed a daughter, Nicole Elizabeth, to their family on March 19, 2013. Nicole is their fifth child. Barinque is a podiatrist with Plains Podiatry Associates in Lubbock, TX.

Deborah S. Keller, M.S.P.T.’93

Keller passed the orthopedic clinical specialist exam in February 2012 and is a full-time physical therapist for Frazier Physical Therapy, a private, outpatient clinic in Silsbee, TX. She and her husband, Michael, reside in Lumberton, TX.

Edward Lin, D.O.’93, M.B.A.

Lin received his M.B.A. with Beta Gamma Sigma academic honors from Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta. He is currently an associate professor of surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. He and his wife, Juliana, reside in Decatur, GA.

Patricia L. Dearduff, PA-C’93

Dearduff retired from the Polk County Health Department and now serves as a volunteer and a harpist for Hospice of Central Iowa, taking music to the very sick and dying. She and her husband, James, reside in Clive, IA.

Ott is a sports medicine orthopedist at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen and Brownsville, TX, and actively raises funds for a program that helps veterans wounded in combat when they return to the United States. Jones was recently published in Podiatry Management’s orthotics and biomechanics section in September 2011. The article was titled, “Unwringing the helix: it’s not nuclear physics, it’s old biomechanics with a new twist.”
