Irwin J. Kurtzack, D.O.’55

Kurtzack was a team physician in 1977 for Carol City High School in Miami Gardens, FL. The team was top-rated in the country with three players moving on to the National Football League. Kurtzack is a retired family medicine physician and resides in Bethesda, MD, with his wife, Pauline.

In June 2013 Dow successfully completed and is designated with the clinical specialty of orthopedic manual therapist (COMT). She practices at Marian Joy Rehabilitation Centers in Oak Brook Terrace, IL.

Ashley J. Alm, D.P.T.’11, M.H.A.’14

Alm completed a post-graduate sports physical therapy residency program in October 2012 through ProRehab, PC, and the University of Evansville in Evansville, IN. In June 2013, she received  designation as a sports-certified specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.

Weintz is the chief medical officer of Stanton County Hospital and the chief medical director of Stanton County Family Practice, both in Johnson City, KS. The hospital and clinic recently completed a $12.5 million renovation.

Diewold (formerly Barrick) and Austin Diewold were married on May 4, 2013. Tera is a physician assistant with Mercy Indianola Urgent Care Clinic in Indianola, IA, and Austin is a superintendent at Brockway Mechanical and Roofing in Burlington, IA. The couple resides in Carlisle, IA.

Jansen finished an anesthesiology residency at University Hospitals – Case Medical Center in Cleveland and is starting a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic.

Admiral Walter C. Rustmann, D.O.’95

Rustmann was commissioned as admiral in the Texas Navy by Governor Rick Perry upon his retirement from the United States Air Force and Texas Air National Guard after 37 years of service to country and state. This honor is typically bestowed on individuals for outstanding service to the United States and/or the state of Texas.
