Roger Senty, D.O.’58, FACOS

Roger Senty gave a lecture at DMU on Aug. 25 titled “The Post-war Years: the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the New Acceptance.” Senty was appointed chair of the surgery department of the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, now DMU, in 1967 and served as dean of the college from 1971 to 1973.

Matthew T. Connell, D.O.’10

Dr. Connell was appointed a gynecology faculty member at the National Institutes of Health. On July 1, 2015, he will begin a reproductive medicine fellowship at the Program for Reproductive and Adult Endocrinology at the NIH.

Troy J. Boffeli, D.P.M.’90, FACFAS

Dr. Boffeli had two research articles published in the November 2014 issue of the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Laura A. L’Heureux, D.O.’92, FACOOG

In 2013, Laura L’Heureux became the first physician in the United States to be board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as sleep medicine. Earlier in her career, she was a staff obstetrician/gynecologist performing surgery and deliveries at Cigna’s Thunderbird Banner and Arrowhead hospitals in the Phoenix area. Hunter J. Hansen, D.O.’84

On May 29, 2014, Hunter Hansen became the owner and medical director of the Carolina Men’s Clinic (CMC) in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Hansen started working as a staff physician at CMC on Feb. 24, 2014. The clinic focuses on sexual health for men.
