Nishit K. Nirmal, M.H.A.’09

Nirmal works for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare in southeast Wisconsin, where he manages strategic planning and provides consulting, business and operation development for neurosciences. He also handles referral management and downstream revenue for the medical group, partnered physicians and hospitals.

James S. Foreman, M.H.A.’93

Foreman accepted the position of chief financial officer with On With Life, a nonprofit organization and a Midwest leader in brain injury rehabilitation. Foreman plans to start the position on March 31, 2014.

Bradden T. Cannon, M.H.A., M.P.H.’08

Cannon accepted a position as the director of cardiovascular services at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville in January. He and his wife, Sunny, are raising their three children, Hyrum, Olivia and the newest, Madalynn Fae, who joined their family in August 2013.

Ryan T. Dow, M.H.A., M.P.H.’12

Dow is a safety, health and environmental consultant in the administrative branch at DuPont Pioneer for all its lab and research operations in the Des Moines, IA, area. He oversees safety for more than 1,000 people; some of his efforts are going toward global implementation.

Georgena K. Barnes, M.H.A.’13

Barnes accepted an offer to become the new practice supervisor in the surgery department at The Iowa Clinic in Des Moines, IA. She oversees 15 physicians and 15 staff members and splits her time between the clinic’s downtown and west locations.

Patrick L. Cornett, M.H.A.’11

Cornett is finishing up a project with Samsung Hospital, Korea’s Centers for Disease Control, and the city of Seoul in fostering understanding and prevention of cerebrovascular disease. Brenda K. Jeffers, M.H.A.’03

Jeffers was named facility administrator of the new DaVita Dialysis unit in Ottumwa, IA. She was also appointed to the board of directors of the River Hills Community Health Center, a federally qualified health center in Ottumwa. River Hills is one of 14 federally qualified facilities in the state of Iowa.
