Lee C. Rogers, D.P.M.’04

Rogers is the associate director of Valley Presbyterian Hospital’s Amputation Prevention Center in Van Nuys, CA, and will be named one of “America’s Most Influential Podiatrists” in Podiatry Management magazine’s November issue. The Amputation Prevent Center is an integrated limb-preservation center that is one of the nation’s only facilities of its kind.

Christensen is the recipient of the John Fisher Alumni Award from his undergraduate, Buena Vista University (BVU), in Storm Lake, IA. The award was established in 1970 and named for BVU’s 14th president. Clarence M. Jones, D.P.M.’93

Jones was recently published in Podiatry Management’s orthotics and biomechanics section in September 2011. The article was titled, “Unwringing the helix: it’s not nuclear physics, it’s old biomechanics with a new twist.”

Stormy L. Weis, D.P.T.’11

Weis and Kyle Wilson announced their engagement and upcoming wedding. The couple will be married on December 10 in Creston, IA. She is a physical therapist with Professional Physical Therapy Association at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola, IA, and his employer is the Creston News Advertiser.

Brandon J. Wegehaupt, PA-C’11

Wegehaupt joined Avera Orthopedic Associates in Mitchell, SD, where he resides. He is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants and the Iowa Physician Assistant Society.

Matthew W. Buck, M.H.A.’09

Buck began a new position as administrator at Ogden Manor in Ogden, IA, in September. He spent the past two years as administrator of Friendship Manor in Grinnell, IA. He and his fiancée reside in Ankeny, IA.

Brent E. Van Til, D.P.M.’08

Van Til joined the staff of Allegan General Hospital’s Wound Healing Center in Allegan, MI, which specializes in the treatment of chronic wounds and non-responsive conditions and offers hospital-based outpatient wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. He practices at the Holland Foot and Ankle Center in Allegan.

YuJin Kim, D.O.’08

Kim joined the Lakewood Clinic in Lakewood, WA, after completing a residency at Michigan State University, Bay Regional Medical Center, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bay City, MI.

Chad A. Stadsvold, D.O.’07

Stadsvold completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he served as chief resident. He is the medical director for St. Luke’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic in Sioux City, IA.

Brad Bussewitz, D.P.M.’07

Bussewitz sees patients at two locations, Professional Foot and Ankle in Iowa City, IA, and the Coral West Health Center in Coralville, IA. He completed a three-year surgical residency at a trauma center in Columbus, OH, and an adult reconstructive foot and ankle fellowship at Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Columbus.

Kipp A. Gould, D.O.’06

Gould is an orthopedic surgeon with Regional Orthopedics in Spearfish, CO. He completed an internship at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine Doctors Hospital of Stark County and a residency in orthopedic surgery at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine Affinity Medical Center, both in Massillon, OH.

Tyler J. Beckley, D.O.’05

Beckley completed an osteopathic internship and orthopaedic residency at St. John Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights, MI and most recently completed  an orthopaedic fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has joined Gunderson Lutheran-Decorah Clinic in Decorah, IA, and specializes in caring for sports-related injuries and is able to perform surgical procedures.
