Kim E. Burke, D.O.’05

Burke and her husband, Patrick, welcomed a new baby, Zachary Tyler, on Sept. 8, 2012. He joins big sisters Kassidy, 4, and Mackenzie, 2. Burke is in her second year of an anesthesiology residency at Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA.

Stephanie A. Moon, M.H.A.’09

Moon earned her RN, MSN-CNL from the University of Iowa in 2012. She is the nurse coordinator for the Iowa Weight Loss Specialists clinics, West Des Moines, which specialize in bariatric surgery and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.

Todd C. Peterson, D.O.’09

Peterson had his article, “Thromboembolic Prophylaxis in Total Joint Arthroplasty,” published in Thrombosis Journal. He is in his fourth year of an orthopedic surgery residency with St. John Providence Health System in Madison Heights, MI.

Patrick K. McClellan, D.O.’64

McClellan was elected to serve as president of the Macomb County Osteopathic Medical Association in 2013. He will be installed as president on February 23, 2013, in Clinton Township, MI. He is a retired family practice physician and resides in Richmond, MI, with his wife, Sandra.
