Matthew McCammon and Kathie Palmersheim, Des Moines University podiatric medical students in the Class of 2013, each received a $2,500 scholarship from the Podiatry Insurance Company of America (PICA). PICA supports podiatric medical education by awarding scholarships to fourth-year students for academic excellence, leadership and service. The faculty of the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery selects the students to receive the PICA Scholarship.
