Casey Ebert, a fourth-year student in the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, was awarded the Michael L. Stone, D.P.M., Outstanding Professional Conduct Award at the Annual Business Meeting of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery held on February 11 in Las Vegas.
One student from each college of podiatric medicine was selected by faculty to receive the recognition. Ebert earned the award based on her professionalism, leadership, academic performance and service to the community and profession. The award, which included a $2,000 honorarium, was presented to Ebert by CPMS Dean R. Tim Yoho, D.P.M., FACFAS, who noted, “Casey served as president of the Iowa Podiatric Medical Student Association and has been one of the strongest student leaders in the history of the College.”
