Robert E. Weissinger, D.O.89, PA-C’84
Weissinger is chief medical officer of hospice and palliative medicine at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City, IA. He is a large proponent of palliative care, which focuses on improving life and providing comfort to people of all ages with serious, chronic and life-threatening diseases. Prior to joining Mercy in 2011, Weissinger practiced family medicine at Stuart Family Practice in Stuart, IA. He is also a physician in the Iowa National Guard and Iowa Air Guard.
