Early Career Healthcare Executive Award

Early Career Healthcare Executive awardOne of our current MHA students, Kari Dyjak, received the Early Career Healthcare Executive Award last week at the Annual Iowa Hospital Association meeting here in Des Moines.

The award recipient was determined by the following criteria:

  • Must be an affiliate of the American College of Healthcare Executives
  • Demonstration of leadership ability
  • Demonstration of innovative and creative management
  • Executive capability in developing his/her organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community
  • Participation in local, state, or provincial hospital and health association activities
  • Participation in civic/community activities and projects
  • Demonstration of participation in College activities and interest in assisting ACHE in achieving its objectives

With a deep love for her hometown, Nicole Branstad is pro-Des Moines and is constantly touting its many events and attractions. When she isn’t out exploring the city she likes to spend time with her husband Marcus and their son Everett. She enjoys hosting lavish dinner parties, collecting wine and buying fresh flowers at the downtown farmer’s market. Nicole works in the marketing & communications department as the online marketing-enrollment coordinator.
