Lawler and Scott Lawler were married on June 17, 2006. They welcomed a son, Braeden Michael, to their family on July 23, 2008, and a second son, Colin Benjamin, on August 31, 2011. Melissa is currently working on her nursing degree. The family resides in Rochester, MN.
