Wagle was chosen to be the director of the stroke program at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. She helped the hospital obtain certification as a primary stroke center last year. She and her husband live just north of San Francisco in Mill Valley, CA, with their two-year-old son.
