It’s the 5th of May and that means it’s time to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! Contrary to what many think, Cinco de Mayo is NOT Mexico’s Independence Day. It’s actually a celebration of The Battle Of Puebla in 1862. Here’s some history.
It’s primarily celebrated in the Puebla area of Mexico. And of course the United States has adopted it because we love any and all excuses to celebrate! Here’s the Metromix list of related events!
