Applying to D.O. school

May 13, 2010 —

Applications are available for the doctor of osteopathic medicine class of 2015. If you are going to be a college senior in the fall or have already graduated, now is the time to apply!

DMU has a rolling admissions cycle, so the earlier you get your application in, the better chance you have at getting an interview. You can find everything you need to know about the application process here, but you actually apply through AACOMAS. Applications close February 1, 2011.

Tips for submitting your medical school application:

1. Apply early! Our class size is 221 and spots fill up quickly.

2. Make sure you have all the information you need: Transcripts, MCAT scores, volunteer and medical exposure and personal statement. Letters of recommendation should be sent directly to DMU if invited to complete a secondary application.

3. Proofread your application several times before submitting. It doesn’t look good to have typos!

Thanks. It is indeed a useful piece of note for those who want to join DMU. Undoubtedly DMU is one of the best institution to join and hence there is a rush to get the application kits. So it is a good suggestion to fill in the form and get the first chance to give the interview and enroll. Take care and keep us informed about the admission process.
