July 1 –
DMU’s fiscal year.
Since 1995, annual giving has been a vital source of institutional growth for Des Moines University, and provides the foundation for all alumni and friends to help sustain the programs that set DMU apart. Alumni view their donation as an expression of gratitude and acknowledgment of the University’s role in their success while other donors see their philanthropic dollars as an investment in the University’s future. Regardless of their motivation, all annual donors can feel confident that the University will use their gifts strategically to advance the University’s mission.
DMU’s annual giving program runs from July 1- June 30 and all gifts are tax deductible by law. All annual giving donors are recognized in our fall edition of the Honor Roll of Donors. The University is proud to recognize the annual giving donors who make a strong statement about their commitment to DMU year after year.
Areas for Annual Support
All the aspects that make the University exceptional are made possible by your gifts to the DMU Fund. The fund gives university leaders the flexibility to direct donor’ dollars to greatest needs and new opportunities, which means it makes the greatest impact on DMU students.
Des Moines University is comprised of three colleges that encompass nine post-graduate programs. The educational programs and the daily operations of each college are supported by its own annual fund.
Through the generosity of alumni and friends, the University has established a variety of funds that provide critically needed scholarships, bring distinguished experts to campus, support provocative conferences and more.
Those who wear the white coat accept the responsibilities of their professions and confirm their commitment to practicing with integrity and wisdom. Consider a gift to the white coat program today!
