The Glanton scholarship was created in 2004 to honor Luther and Willie Glanton, a husband and wife who rose to the pinnacle of the legal profession at a time when most black Americans were struggling to gain basic civil rights.
The scholarship provides greater access to medical and health sciences education for minority students at Des Moines University. Awarded annually, the scholarship recognizes both scholarly achievement and financial need.
You can help make medical and health sciences education more accessible to minority students by making a gift to the Luther and Willie Glanton Scholarship. For more information, contact the development office at 515-271-1387
