Des Moines University’s College of Health Sciences offers distinctive curricula focused on patient-centered care in its programs of health care administration, health care leadership, physical therapy, Post-Professional physical therapy, physician assistant and public health. Students in DMU’s physician assistant program have a first-time pass rate of 94 percent (five-year average) on the PA National Certifying Exam; the PA Class of 2007 had a 100 percent first-time pass rate. 2008 graduates of DMU’s doctor of physical therapy program had a first-time pass rate of 90 percent on the licensure exams.

CHS Annual Fund
The College of Health Sciences Annual Fund provides critical support for Des Moines University’s daily operations. It provides critically needed scholarships, brings distinguished experts to campus and supports provocative conferences and more per discretion of the dean.
Scholarships
Through the generosity of alumni and friends, the University has established a variety of funds to improve the education of our CHS students. Scholarships enable deserving high-quality students to achieve their goals, reduce their debt and demonstrate the commitment of donors who believe in their potential. Every donation is crucial, regardless of its size, and goes directly towards helping our students. Donations are not diminished by administrative costs and are fully tax-deductible.
