Any advice for prospective students?
I am glad that you are encouraged to pursue your D.P.T. for the advancement and growth of our profession. It is a good investment and worth the hard work in completing all of the 10 courses. It will be overwhelming at first due to its online delivery. Just be positive and don’t hesitate to ask questions. DMU’s faculty would like their students to learn and achieve their goals. I hope you will attend the “on-campus lab”, I think it is the highlight of the program. Good luck.
Extracurricular activities:
Working out at our home gym, stargazing with my husband, running around with our two hyperactive girls, keeping my plants happy and making sure that everything in the house is in its right place and direction.
Why DMU?
I chose DMU because of the courses offered. I felt that these courses would improve me as a clinician. The online delivery of the program provides the convenience that we, busy professionals, need.
Career objectives:
To become a specialist, continue to improve my clinical skills, and be ready for the APTA’s vision of 2020.
