    • bone density/COPD screening at different health fair events (Iowa State Fair, Polk City, Iowa CareGiver’s Conference, DMU Senior Health Fair, National Pork Producers)
    • flu shot clinics at Bilgi’s Children’s Clinic,
    • Iowa Lung Association- walk and stair climb and Affinity Credit Union Health fair.
  • Assist in the DMU Wellness department with health screenings of students and faculty.

2009 – Governor’s Volunteer Award. Recognized for outstanding service to the State of Iowa for volunteer work with the American Lung Association of Iowa.
